1. Who operates Doodle
Doodle is operated by Dustin Turner personally. Spotter Dev is used as a project, workspace, or brand name and is not a separate legal entity, LLC, corporation, nonprofit, school, agency, placement organization, or tax-exempt organization unless a formal entity is created later.
2. Scope and U.S. focus
This Privacy Policy explains how Doodle may collect, use, store, share, and protect information when users access Doodle's website, account features, intake forms, demo results, saved leads, tracker statuses, templates, resume-helper guidance, and related services. Doodle is intended for use in the United States by adults and postsecondary students.
3. Information users should not submit
Do not submit highly sensitive personal data, including Social Security numbers, government IDs, passwords, verification codes, medical records, therapy notes, diagnosis details, protected health information, information about clients or patients, confidential school documents, payment data, financial records, banking information, precise geolocation, immigration documents, emergency information, or other highly sensitive information.
4. Information Doodle may collect
Depending on the features used, Doodle may collect account information, practicum-search intake information, saved leads and tracker statuses, template text, demo and automated-output information, communications users send to Doodle, technical and usage information, and approximate location entered by a user or inferred from basic technical data. The Practicum Resume & Cover Letter Studio is different: uploaded resumes, profile answers, target details, evidence mappings, drafts, and edits stay in the current browser tab's memory and are not submitted to Doodle's servers.
5. Sources of information
Doodle may collect information from users, their device or browser, service providers used to operate the site, and third-party sources displayed or referenced as candidate leads or informational resources. Doodle does not control third-party websites or sources.
6. How Doodle uses information
Doodle may use information to create, maintain, authenticate, and secure accounts; provide intake, demo-result, saved-lead, tracker, template, and resume-helper features; generate and retrieve workflow information; provide automated or AI-assisted educational support; respond to requests; troubleshoot; protect safety and security; and maintain legal or operational records.
7. Automated or AI-assisted features
Doodle may use user-provided inputs and saved workflow information to generate automated or AI-assisted educational and workflow support. In the Practicum Resume & Cover Letter Studio, the complete Doodle draft and optional private writing suggestions run in the browser. Public writing-tool files may be downloaded and cached by the browser, but resume content and draft text are not sent to that file host. Users should not treat automated output as professional advice, official approval, verified data, or a substitute for human review.
8. Cookies, local storage, logs, and sessions
Doodle may use cookies, local storage, session tools, logs, and similar technologies for sign-in, account access, saved demo state, security, troubleshooting, and basic application operation. The Practicum Resume & Cover Letter Studio does not save student resume content to browser storage, Doodle's database, or server logs. Studio content is cleared when the tab is closed, refreshed, or explicitly reset. Downloaded DOCX files remain under the user's control.
9. Current advertising, payments, and communications status
Doodle does not use ads, cross-context behavioral advertising, newsletter signup, public contact forms, or site-sent outreach emails. Donate to Doodle offers voluntary one-time support through Stripe-hosted Payment Links. Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy practices; Doodle does not collect card or bank details on its site. If ads, sponsored placement, subscriptions, purchases, analytics, newsletters, uploads, document generation, contact forms, outbound email sending, or public email tools are added later, legal and privacy notices will be updated before activation.
10. Sharing and service providers
Doodle may share information with service providers that help operate, host, authenticate, secure, store, troubleshoot, or support the service. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed to perform those services and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.
11. Third-party links, leads, and external websites
Doodle may display candidate leads, third-party names, links, or public information for user research. Third-party sites have their own practices, may change without notice, and may collect information directly from users if users visit or contact them.
12. Children's privacy
Doodle is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not create accounts, submit forms, save information, contact Doodle through the website, or provide personal information through Doodle.
13. Student, school, and practicum information
Doodle is not a school official, school-approved record system, or official placement office. Users should not submit confidential education records, private program records, transcripts, disciplinary records, disability records, or other protected school materials unless a future feature specifically supports that after review.
14. Health, behavioral-health, and crisis information
Doodle is not a healthcare provider, therapy service, crisis service, clinical record system, or emergency service. Users should not submit medical records, protected health information, therapy notes, client or patient information, diagnosis details, treatment records, or emergency information.
15. Data retention
Doodle may retain account, search, saved-lead, tracker, technical, and operational information as needed to provide the service, support users, troubleshoot, protect security, comply with legal obligations, preserve backups, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Under the limited-seat launch policy, inactive accounts receive a Day 14 voluntary release notice, a Day 28 final warning, and permanent account deletion after 30 days of inactivity. Deleted accounts are removed from Doodle's active production system and are not restored by Doodle; third-party infrastructure may follow its own backup lifecycle.
16. Security
Doodle uses safeguards appropriate to its current service, but no website, database, network, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
17. User choices and requests
Users may be able to access or update account information through Doodle's account features. Verified inbound contact aliases are listed on the Contact Readiness page and Contact Boundaries page for privacy requests, corrections, accessibility feedback, legal notices, and security reports. The verified aliases are inbound-only human review channels. Do not send sensitive personal, medical, legal, school, financial, password, government ID, client or patient, or emergency information by email.
18. California and other state privacy rights
Privacy rights and request procedures vary by state. Use the verified privacy contact listed on the Contact Readiness page to ask about access, correction, or deletion requests that may apply to you.
19. Emails and communications
Doodle currently does not send outreach emails on behalf of users and does not include a newsletter. Doodle may send narrow operational and verification emails for waitlist verification, 24-hour invitations, Day 14 voluntary release notices, Day 28 final warnings, and owner operational alerts. If user-support emails, marketing emails, newsletters, or site-sent outreach are added later, this policy and related notices should be updated.
20. Contacts before broad launch
Doodle's verified public domain is doodleit.org. www.doodleit.org redirects to doodleit.org. Verified inbound email contact aliases are listed on the Contact Readiness page. Do not send emergency, crisis, medical, legal, school-placement, or highly sensitive personal information by email.
21. External providers and future live sources
Doodle primarily uses committed, cache-first information from official and public sources. Server-side USAJOBS and Google Places integrations may process a signed-in member's bounded search terms and entered location only when their owner, terms, credential, privacy, and call-limit gates are active. Google Places results are transient organization context and are not stored as durable Places content; place IDs may be retained as permitted. Adzuna remains disabled unless written permission or a current license is confirmed. Doodle does not expose provider keys, run browser-side provider calls, or scrape restricted platforms.
Google Places use is subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.
22. Third-party retention and control
If users visit, contact, apply to, or share information with third-party schools, agencies, employers, supervisors, job platforms, or websites, those third parties may collect, retain, use, disclose, or protect information under their own policies and practices. Doodle does not control those third-party systems.
23. Not permanent storage or backup
Doodle is not intended as permanent storage or a backup service. Users should keep independent copies of important records, contacts, confirmations, school requirements, applications, and outreach materials outside Doodle.
24. Voluntary support and future paid features
Donate to Doodle offers voluntary one-time support through Stripe-hosted Payment Links. Support does not change account access, search inclusion, ranking, verification, or results. Doodle does not currently use ads, sponsored leads, affiliate links, subscriptions, or paid placement; disclosures will be updated before any such feature is enabled.
25. Contact routing status
Cloudflare Email Routing is enabled for the verified public contact aliases. Contact forms, outbound email sending, automated ticketing, auto-replies, and Email Worker processing are not enabled. Verified inbound contact aliases are available, but no contact form, outbound email sending, auto-reply, automated ticketing, or Email Worker processing is enabled in this build.
26. Limited seats and .edu access
Doodle has a limited number of student seats. Verified .edu email is required for student accounts, and .edu verification only confirms control of the mailbox; it does not prove school endorsement, enrollment status, placement eligibility, or school approval. The site may temporarily pause access for security, capacity, or cost protection.
